A blessing ceremony is a beautiful way to mark a transition from one phase of life to the next.
Traditionally, this is from child to maiden (when the first menses arrive), maiden to mother (when expecting the first baby), mother to queen (perimenopause time, children leaving the home), and queen to crone (becoming an elder).
I believe in the importance of marking our life transitions, not only the shifts listed above but also things like getting married or divorced, starting or retiring from a career, losing a loved one, and having a miscarriage (I know so many of us navigated that loss alone in silence).
Take a moment and imagine being held in sacred space during these impactful life events. Feel into how powerful it would be to be witnessed on a soul-level while navigating life’s biggest changes.
Most of us did not have a ceremony to mark these changes in our lives. It’s okay (and important) to grieve for what we didn’t receive. And I want you to know it’s never too late! We can go into ceremony and hold space for things that happened decades ago.
